Aqua Kitty – Milk Mine Defender might look like a charming, casual game but it has the heart of an old school arcade shooter and will really test your skills. The hand drawn pixel art is beautiful and the whole experience is enhanced by the excellent chiptune soundtrack.
Gameplay: Retro style side scrolling action that packs quite a challenge.
Graphics: Beautiful hand drawn pixel art.
Sound: A rocking chiptune soundtrack that compliments the action nicely

Words for Evil impresses with its fast paced gameplay, gorgeous pixel art visuals and large cast of characters. The gameplay is geared more towards stringing together words as fast as possible instead of searching for the longest words which makes for a more action packed feel. Unfortunately, there is no multi-player mode, but the low price tag means this is an easy and worthwhile impulse buy for all logophiles.
Gameplay: Fast paced and quite addictive.
Graphics: Beautiful pixel art visuals.
Sound: Catchy and very fitting

Action Henk from RageSquid continues its speedy progress towards completion and has recently receive another big update. The latest patch introduced a new disco-themed environment along with some new levels. You’ll also have the opportunity to race against Henk’s sensei, Neil, who can be unlocked as a playable character if you manage to beat him.
Another big new addition to the game is the much anticipated level editor. With integrated Steam Workshop support it is easy to create, share and play community levels. It is obviously still in an early access state, but very easy to use. Check out the full list of changes that comes with this update below

The tower defense sections of the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing series by NeocoreGames might not have been the main focus of the games, but they were certainly a lot of fun. Deathtrap however reverses the formula by making the tower defense the main focus of the game and then layering on all kinds of action RPG goodness to make it even better. The end result is a highly addictive title with plenty of depth that will keep fans of both genres hooked
Early Access Previews
With Master Reboot already under their belt Wales Interactive knows a thing or two about first person science fiction adventures. They also have a penchant for the mysterious as demonstrated by their latest title, Soul Axiom. The game appears to be a spiritual successor to Master Reboot as it also explores the theme of souls uploaded to a massive server where memories are stored for all eternity. This time though the server is called Elysia and you have to figure out the identity of your character and what their story is
Indie Bundle Focus
Players who enjoy strategy titles are in for a treat with the Masters of Strategy 2 bundle. Each of the games in this bundle are able to provide countless hours of entertainment, so you’ll certainly be getting value for your money. The bundle has a mix of old and new games, but most of the titles are really solid and well worth the price of admission

This War of Mine takes on a serious subject and manages to turn it into a great game without compromising the core message. War is hell and trying to survive it as a non-combatant is something that nobody should ever have to experience in real life. The game offers a glimpse into the trials and tribulations faced by ordinary people caught up in extraordinary circumstances. It is a dark experience that will probably not appeal to everyone, but once it sucks you into its bleak world it can be hard to leave until you have done all you could to save the people placed under your guidance.
Gameplay: Simple to control, but hard to master, this game will challenge you in more ways than one.
Graphics: The unique art style perfectly captures the bleak reality of being trapped in a hostile environment.
Sound: Fitting audio and outstanding sound effects
