Gun Gun Pixies

Gun Gun Pixies

Gun Gun Pixies is a fan-service heavy third-person shooter where players get to infiltrate an all-girl dorm with a pair of pint-size pixies from another planet. It is a very niche title and makes no apologies for the copious amounts of ecchi content, but the story is actually very decent and running around as a tiny pixie in a world filled with giant girls can be fun. Unfortunately, the game can be a little repetitive and some areas, such as the controls, could do with improvements. Ultimately, if you are a fan of the genre and enjoy the fan-service, then you might be able to overlook the flaws and have fun with his one.

Gameplay: Fun, but it can be more frustrating than challenging at times due to the controls.

Graphics: The visuals are decent and the girls look great, but the environments are very limited.

Sounds: Average music, but the voices and sound effects are good

Moons of Madness

Moons of Madness

Moons of Madness is a story-driven horror title where players control an engineer fighting for his life and sanity on Mars. After what was supposed to be a fairly routine mission goes horribly wrong, you are left trying to salvage the situation as the odds continue to mount against you. Although this game focuses very much on the story, it also features some nice puzzles, and the threat of death will keep you on your toes.

Gameplay: Moons of Madness is more than just a walking simulator, thanks to some decent puzzles.

Graphics: The game features plenty of lovely visual details.

Sound: It has a decent soundtrack, but the voice acting stands out

Untitled Goose Game

Untitled Goose Game

Untitled Goose Game allows players to waddle around as a large goose who is on a mission to annoy everyone as much as possible. It’s a charming and whimsical game that had us laughing out loud at times. Some of the objectives are more amusing than others, but each new area we unlocked was a treat to explore and trash. Unfortunately, with only four main areas and a short final location, the game can be completed in a matter of hours. There’s some extra fun to be had with the new, harder objectives you are given, but these are still restricted to the old locations. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a lighthearted game or want a stealth puzzler without the usual blood and violence, then Untitled Goose Game is a good choice.

Gameplay: Unique and entertaining, but very short.

Graphics: Very charming and colorful.

Sound: The piano-based soundtrack is a good match for the style of the game

Control

Control

Control is an over the top third-person shooter with a very interesting story and setting. Unfortunately, while the combat can be a lot of fun, thanks to your supernatural powers, it can also become a bit repetitive after a while. We also found that the main story didn’t manage to grab our attention in the same way as some of the things described in the classified file collectibles that are scattered about did. Nevertheless, if you are looking for something that is a bit out of the ordinary, looks great, and offers more replay value than any of Remedy’s previous titles, then Control is worth a try.

Gameplay: Sometimes boring, sometimes chaotic, sometimes repetitive, but also filled with a few great sections.

Graphics: The game looks great if you have the hardware to do it justice.

Sound: The soundtrack could have been better, but the voice acting is top-notch

Zombie Army Trilogy

Zombie Army Trilogy

Zombie Army Trilogy takes the original Nazi Zombie Army games, gives them a brand new coat of paint, and dishes them up along with a third chapter. Shooting zombies in the head with sniper rifles is every bit as enjoyable as it sounds, but for the most fun, you ideally want to team up with a few friends for the online co-op. Despite a few rough edges and slightly repetitive gampeplay Zombie Army Trilogy comes highly recommended for fans of co-op games.

Gameplay: Slightly repetitive, but a whole lot of fun.

Graphics: The visuals look decent and are a significant improvement over the original games.

Sound: Straight from a zombie-themed B-movie
