Nine Noir Lives by Silvernode Games is a “point-and-lick” comedy-noir adventure filled with humor, crazy characters, and intriguing locations. Playing as a feline private investigator, Cuddles Nutterbutter, and his plucky assistant, Tabby Marshmallow, the goal is to solve a last-minute case for the Chief of Police. BROK the InvestiGator by COWCAT is the very first PUNCH & CLICK starring Brok, a private detective, and former boxer. The game is set in a futuristic “light cyberpunk” world where animals have replaced humans. Players get to solve puzzles with their wits or muscles while leveling up to beat enemies and bosses. BROK the InvestiGator also features two playable characters that can be switched between at any time as players unlock the multiple distinct endings. Islets by Kyle Thompson and Armor Games Studios is a surprisingly wholesome Metroidvania title where players must take to the sky and reunite a fragmented world. Players take control of Iko, an aspiring yet hopeful warrior traveling from island to island in his rickety airship. The game features terrifying monsters to fight, upgrades to discover, and a wide cast of charming characters to befriend. The Mortuary Assistant

The Mortuary Assistant is a horror title where players must perform a series of stomach-churning tasks to prepare the deceased for burial. This would have been bad enough if it wasn’t for the fact that the mortuary is also home to a demonic entity with its sights set on the protagonist, Rebecca Owens. Unless players can help Rebecca identify the demon and then burn it along with the correct body, she risks possession or worse. However, this is easier said than done when the clock is ticking, and paranormal activity is ramping up around her. Overall, The Mortuary Assistant is a must-own title for fans of the genre and one of the best horror games of 2022.

Gameplay: The Mortuary Assistant is short but very replayable, and each shift will leave players on the edge of their seats.

Graphics: The visuals are good, and the game knows how to use visual scare tactics well, but squeamish players might not enjoy the mortuary tasks.

Sound: The voice acting is decent, and the ambient noises, as well as sound effects, are top-notch

Zombie Scrapper by Ransacked Studios is a twin-stick shooter that will test your survival skills. Players must battle through an onslaught of zombies and collect as much scrap as possible to unlock new weapons and hats. The game features 36 zombie-infested levels in the epic campaign and 12 endless horde levels where players can see how long they survive. ZooKeeper by Pyramid Games, Gaming Factory and Ultimate Games is a low poly game in which players take on the role of a zoo owner. The goal is to make the zoo as popular as possible by creating biomes for different animals and hiring staff to take care of them. In addition, players can also make their zoo more interesting with other attractions for visitors. Best of all, ZooKeeper even allows players to bring back long-extinct reptile species to place in their zoo. Check out some of the gameplay from the second area of the game in the video below
