Braziball is the type of game that is ideal for killing a few minutes while waiting for something or someone. However it is also addictive enough that you might find yourself playing for much longer than you planned. The visuals won’t blow you away and the audio is fairly standard, but the game accomplishes what it sets out to do quite well. The best part is that you can test it out for free to make sure you like it.
Gameplay: Easy to understand, but addictive enough to keep you playing.
Graphics: Fairly simple, but colorful and eye catching.
Sound: Nice tunes and some atmospheric sound effects
Defender is a pretty basic castle defense game, but it is fun to play. With the same playing field and a rather limited selection of monsters it can become a bit boring the more you play. While the game is free there is also a cash shop where crystals and cash can be bought unless you prefer to grind for these valuable resources. A nice game to play every once in a while, but it soon grows tiring.
Gameplay: Addictive at first, but the lack of variety can make it a bit boring later on.
Graphics: Very polished, but could have used some more variety.
Sound: The sound effects are good
Running away from demonic monkeys while dodging all kinds of obstacles is surprisingly a lot more fun than it sounds. While the gameplay is relatively simple the game is addictive enough that you will be coming back for more. Best of all is the fact that it is free and the only purchases that requires real cash is coins which can be earned in the game so there is no need to take out your wallet unless you want to save some time.
Gameplay: A very simple idea but very addictive.
Graphics: Could do with a bit more variation.
Sound: The usual drumming sounds interspersed with some simian shouts
The Angry Birds series might be the undisputed king of the genre, but don’t write off games like Fragger. The simple idea of lobbing ideas at bad guys to blow them up soon becomes very addictive as you have to aim precisely and figure out the steps to make the most of your limited arsenal. Very entertaining and a great time waster.
Gameplay: Addictive but the controls can be a bit fiddly.
Graphics: Simple but clear and colorful.
Sound: Does the job
