Play as an unpleasant memory that has manifested in the form of a female mallet wielding clown as you wreak havoc on the psyche of a teenager named Max. It is your job to break down all the barriers in his mind and eliminate the competition as you attempt to become a full-blown phobia. Fearmonium features eye-catching hand-drawn visuals, tons of unique enemies and locations, as well as a stellar soundtrack by Expecte Amour. Best of all, it is an absolute blast to play, and Metroidvania fans should not hesitate to pick it up.

Gameplay: Not too challenging, but very captivating.

Beyond Eyes is a beautiful but slow-paced 3rd person adventure about a blind girl searching for a lost cat. Each step of her journey paints the world around her in eye-catching watercolor pastels. Still, interactions with the environment are limited, and the game is devoid of puzzles or challenges. Nevertheless, if you are patient and can appreciate a game that is more about the experience than the challenge, then Beyond Eyes is worth a playthrough.

Gameplay: Slow-paced and easy, but also very unique and compelling.

Graphics: Beautiful watercolor visuals make Beyond Eyes truly look like a fairy-tale novel.

Sound: Very minimal, but the haunting soundtrack is quite beautiful

Cloud Cutter is a straightforward shoot ’em up that updates the classic formula with impressive modern visuals. The game features 13 intense levels that can be played alone or with a friend as you blast land, sea, and air-based enemies to bits. It doesn’t attempt to innovate or subvert the genre in any way but does a great job of bringing classic arcade shoot ’em up action to modern audiences.

Gameplay: Destroy everything in sight while trying to stay alive.

Gameplay: An interesting and unique story with different routes to explore.

Graphics: Beautiful backgrounds and detailed character sprites.

Sound: Only partial voice acting, but the music and sound effects are very good
