Switchball HD

Switchball HD is the definitive version of this classic puzzle platformer. The higher frame rate, along with the visual enhancements, makes this game a treat to play, and the gameplay is still as addictive as it was all those years ago. Atomic Elbow clearly put a lot of effort into this release, and we recommend it to all fans of the original as well as newcomers.

Gameplay: Switchball HD is easy to pick up and play, but later levels will challenge your skills.

Graphics: Switchball has never looked better, thanks to a range of improvements.

Sound: The game features a great soundtrack and realistic sound effects

Buildings Have Feelings Too!

Buildings Have Feelings Too! is an unorthodox title where the focus is on constructing, upgrading, and shuffling around buildings. Unlike most titles in this genre, the game is completely 2D and all the action takes place on the y-axis, which is unusual, to say the least. Due to a clunky user interface, some tedious elements, and a couple of difficulty spikes this game won’t appeal to everyone. However, if you get hooked by its charming visuals and can overlook some of the more cumbersome elements there is fun to be had here.

Gameplay: A little more tedious and cumbersome than it needs to be, but puzzle fans will enjoy the challenge.

Graphics: It’s hard not to smile at the sight of buildings ambling about on little legs.

Sound: The music and sound effects are decent

Rain on Your Parade

Rain on Your Parade is the story of a cloud on a mission to cause as much mayhem as possible. From raining on weddings to ruining birthday parties, the stakes continue to rise until you are wiping out dinosaurs and flinging around astronauts on the moon. It’s all pure, goofy fun with only a few levels falling short of the brilliance shown in most of the game. If you are looking for a relaxing game where you can blow off some steam without getting frustrated then Rain on Your Parade is just the thing.

Gameplay: Simple, but very imaginative and entertaining.

Graphics: Bright and colorful with plenty of variation when it comes to the levels.

Sound: The shrieks of soaked wedding guests are music to the ears

Mech Mechanic Simulator

Step into the shoes of a mech mechanic and fix giant robots in this science fiction-themed simulation title by PolySlash. Mech Mechanic Simulator features a variety of gigantic iron machines to deconstruct and repair as well as an entire workshop to upgrade and customize. The game might seem daunting at first, but it is actually very accessible and while there’s some grind involved it is also quite relaxing. It doesn’t stray too far from the confines of the genre, but it is certainly one of the more unique titles in terms of what you get to work on.

Gameplay: A little daunting at first, but accessible and relaxing once you get into the swing of things.

Graphics: Great mech designs and tons of components to work on.

Sound: Decent enough, but the game is best enjoyed with your own playlist or favorite podcast in the background
