Official Release Date For Cardaclysm: Shards of the Four On Steam Revealed

Cardaclysm: Shards of Four, the single-player card combat RPG by Headup and Elder Games now has an official release date on Steam. The game, which launched as an Early Access title in July 2020, will be getting its full release on February 26, 2021. During its time in Early Access, the game has gone through multiple updates, which added everything from new cards to artifacts, enemies, and biomes. With the full release of the game, players will also be able to take on the fierce final boss, a new deathly realm as well as end game content.

For those not familiar with Cardaclysm, it is a procedurally generated collectible card game with action RPG elements. Players must take on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and their minions after they were accidentally unleashed by your dark wizard. The old wizard council will not be pleased by your meddling with magic and spells that were way too powerful for you, so stopping the Apocalypse is a top priority.

Cardaclysm features 50 factions and over 200 cards with unique abilities, art, and 3D animation. You can also equip your hero with over 40 artifacts before taking on the five mythic bosses standing in your way. Since the game’s world is endlessly generated in different biomes there’s always something new to explore. Between quests, players can visit the Interdimensional Pub to complete challenges and trade cards. The final chapter of the game features the new “Agents of Death” enemy type as well as the ultimate boss: Death himself.
