The Immortal Bundle by Bundle Stars

Bundle Stars once again delivers with a ten title bundle in which more than half the games have never been bundled before. This bundle offers a saving of more than $100 and even if you picked up all the titles at sale prices it won’t come close to the savings to be had here.

Adventurezator: When Pigs Fly

Windows | View this game on Steam | Single Player | Steam Achievements | Steam Cloud | Steam Trading Cards | Steam Workshop

Adventurezator is certainly one of the more unique titles in this bundle as it allows anyone to create their own adventure games. No technical knowledge is required and the game has an intuitive interface that allows you to create campaigns, levels, actors and even cutscenes. Thanks to the workshop support you can then share your creations with other players or check out what everyone else managed to come up with. To give players an idea of what is possible with this program a short campaign is included. The campaign follows the adventures of a man that was cursed to turn into a pig and serves as a nice demonstration of the possibilities that this software has. As Adventurezator is still in Early Access it does still have a few bugs, but the developers are continually working on improvements and adding new features. Buying it on Steam would set you back $14.99 making it a steal in this bundle. The game has also never been bundled before, so grabbing it as part of the Immortal Bundle offers great value for money.

CastleMiner Z

Windows | View this game on Steam | Single Player | Multi-player | Co-op | Steam Achievements

As the name suggests, CastleMiner Z draws its inspiration from a variety of other titles. You’ll find a blend of Minecraft style block building and crafting, DayZ style zombie hordes and survival aspects as well as some dragons. The game features online coop as well as single player modes if you prefer playing alone. In endurance mode you attempt to get as far as you can from your starting point while staying alive while Survival mode allows you to build permanent structures and defenses to do the same. For building in peace the game has a Creative mode with enemies that can be toggled on or off. Finally there is the Dragon Survival mode where you take on these brutes as they come at you in waves. While CastleMinerZ doesn’t offer anything vastly different for the genre it does sport a grittier visual style and can obviously be quite fun when played with a group of friends. Ordinarily the game retails for $4.99 on Steam and this is only the second time that it has ever been bundled.

Claustrophobia: The Downward Struggle

Windows | View this game on Steam | Single Player

The second Early Access title in this bundle is Claustrophobia: The Downward Struggle from The Indie Forge. The game is a Tactical RPG Roguelike with a classless, stat and gear-based progression system. As you make your way through the procedural dungeon you’ll encounter a host of different enemies that has to be defeated in turn based combat. Along the way there is tons of loot to collect and you’ll need every bit of it as the game features permadeath. The clean interface means that the game is simple to play, but remains challenging enough that repeated trips through the dungeons don’t become boring. The game is still in Early Access, so new features such as multiple dungeons, a story mode and bosses are still in the works. The catchy tunes, colorful visuals and addictive gameplay ensures that Claustrophobia is a game that will keep you hooked even after dying repeatedly. The game normally sells for $4.99 on Steam and this is its second bundle appearance.

Dawn of Fantasy: Kingdom Wars

Windows | View this game on Steam |Single Player | Multi-Player | MMO | Co-op

Dawn of Fantasy: Kingdom Wars makes its third bundle appearance and offers, what it calls, 3D MMORTS with real time siege combat. The game is courtesy of Reverie World Studios and while it does have a multiplayer focus there are some single player modes on offer as well. Strategy veterans should be familiar with the usual genre staples such as resource gathering, building, economic management and ordering units around, but the siege battles offers something new. The game also allows you to choose between three different races, the elves, orcs and humans. The developers revealed that the game would be going free to play soon, but this doesn’t make its inclusion in this bundle worthless. Grabbing the game before the change nets you a premium account and unlocks the majority of the micro-transactions that f2p players would need to drop some cash on to unlock. Dawn of Fantasy is definitely a love it or hate it kind of game, but this is a great chance to check it out before the f2p hordes arrive.

FATE: Undiscovered Realms

Windows | View this game on Steam | Single Player | Steam Achievements | Steam Cloud | Steam Trading Cards

Fate: Undiscovered Realms was released in 2008, making it one of the older titles in the bundle, but don’t let that fool you. This game is a classic dungeon crawler that will keep players busy for hours. It is the sequel to the original Fate, but don’t worry if this is your first foray into this charming world as the intro will bring you up to speed about what has been happening. Gameplay wise you get to explore procedurally generated levels with your pet in tow while killing monsters and completing quests. Tons of loot also await your arrival and dedicated players can take on the hardcore mode. While the game is pretty much the same as the original release it does support a range of graphical options and resolutions which means it doesn’t look too bad for a game of its age. The developers have also added some Steam Trading cards to sweeten the deal. This is the first time that the game is featured in a bundle which makes it a great deal compared to the $7.99 it would set you back on Steam.

The Night of the Rabbit

Windows | View this game on Steam | Single Player | Steam Achievements | Steam Cloud | Steam Trading Cards

The Night of the Rabbit is yet another title making its bundle debut and a rather good one at that. Taking the form of a beautiful point and click adventure, the game casts you in the role of a young boy named Jerry who lands up in the wondrous realm of Mousewood. The game features a diverse cast of characters and a memorable story. The developers promises about 20 hours of gameplay and while the tone of the game starts out lighthearted it doesn’t stay that way for very long. The visual design of the game really stands out and the world is packed with vibrant colors and charming animations. The game also features some really great voice acting and a nice soundtrack. The Night of the Rabbit has won a whole slew of awards and it is easy to see why. While fans of the genre will have the most fun with this one it is unique and charming enough to draw anyone into its world. The game would ordinarily set you back $19.99 on Steam, so don’t miss the chance to grab it from this bundle at a much lower price.

Solar Flux

Windows | View this game on Steam | Single Player | Steam Achievements | Steam Leaderboards | Steam Cloud | Steam Trading Cards | Full Controller Support

Next up is Solar Flux which offers a nice relaxing cerebral challenge backed up by eye catching visuals. The game offers a mix of puzzle solving and strategy as you are tasked with collecting plasma fragments using your omni-directional ship. The goal is to avoid obstacles while collecting the plasma and shoot it back into stars that are on the verge of imploding. With limited fuel and shields that are constantly being drained by the heat of the stars you have to navigate zero gravity as efficiently as possible if you want to survive. The game has more than eighty missions to tackle, set across 18 themed sectors. A three star rating system, achievements, statistics and leaderboards ensures that the game also has plenty of replay value. Solar Flux usually sells for $9.99 on Steam and this is only the second that that it has ever been featured in a bundle.

Stick RPG 2: Director’s Cut

Windows | View this game on Steam | Single Player

It’s not every day that a game gives you the option to select “socially awkward interpretive dancer” as your special ability, so Stick RPG is definitely worth a second look. Although the game is also available in a free to play version, the version included in this bundle is essential the director’s cut. It gives you access to new areas and quests, new careers, new weapons, new combat zones, an expanded romance system as well as other extras such as the original soundtrack in MP3 format. The goal in this role playing game is to solve the mysteries of a place called Paper Thin City after unexpectedly ending up there. As the title suggests, your character and everyone else you encounter are stick figures, but this just adds to the charm of the game. Seeing as the game normally retails for $19.99 on Steam and this is the first time ever that it has been bundled this is the best chance to grab it for a bargain price.

Majesty Gold HD

Windows | View this game on Steam | Single Player | Multi-player

Dating back to 2001, Majesty Gold HD edition is officially the oldest title in this bundle. It has never been bundled before though and what you get here is the definitive version of this classic game. Included is the Northern Expansion pack as well as two new quests. The game also features a couple of graphical and gameplay updates which make it easier to run on modern system at common resolutions. Despite this the game can still appear a bit dated, but the gameplay holds up well. Anyone who played this game when it was first released will enjoy the nostalgia of giving this version a go, but new players who are looking for a good strategy title might find themselves pleasantly surprised as well. The game typically sells for $9.99 on Steam and this is the first time that it has been included in a bundle of any kind.

Third Eye Crime

Windows | View this game on Steam | Single Player | Steam Achievements

Play as a criminal with telepathic powers in this strategic puzzler. The game employs noir style visuals and a jazz soundtrack to really immerse players in the experience. While the goal is to escape each level unscathed the focus isn’t completely on stealth. Instead your character can see where enemies think he is thanks to his telepathic powers. Using this to you advantage you must misdirect enemies and lead them on a merry chase around the levels in order to clear the route to the exit. The game has over 120 levels to conquer, set across eight environments in three acts. As with most games of this type it starts off very gently before really testing your skill. Unlike traditional stealth titles you don’t control your character directly, but instead use your mouse to draw their path around the level. This means that the emphasis is frequently more on puzzle solving than actual stealth, but it remains a fun title nonetheless. The usual price for Third Eye Crime outside of this bundle is $4.99 and this is the first time it has been bundled.

There is very little that I can fault about the Immortal Bundle and it is certainly one of the best offerings yet from Bundle Stars. It features a great selection of games with very few bundle repeats and the games are all spread across a nice selection of genres. The inclusion of two Early Access titles is rather surprising, but both titles already have a lot to offer. There is still time left to grab the Immortal Bundle, so head over to the official Bundle Stars website now before time runs out.
