Blood & Canvas: Bareknuckle Boxing Releases Free Demo Ahead Of November Launch
Blood & Canvas: Bareknuckle Boxing has released a free Steam demo, giving players an early taste of its underground fighting ahead of the full PC launch on 4 November 2026. Developed and published by Thiefcatcher Games, the boxing title combines tactical bouts with a career in which accumulated injuries can eventually force a fighter into retirement.
The demo offers a short introduction to the combat, including striking, movement, head and body targeting, stamina management and a complete fight. Timing and finding openings matter as much as landing punches, with attacks to the head and body affecting opponents in different ways.
For the full game, that punishment extends beyond the current bout. Cuts, bruises and other damage build up throughout a fighter’s career, bringing them closer to the point where their body can no longer continue. Winning is only part of the challenge when every fight can shorten the road ahead.
Players will begin in underground venues before working towards the professional rankings. Money earned from victories can be spent on improving abilities, upgrading the gym and preparing for tougher opponents, while the longer-term goal is to reach the championship before cumulative damage ends the career.
The new demo provides a small sample of that larger experience, focusing on the fundamentals of surviving a fight. The Steam listing also notes that a controller is required, with keyboard and mouse play unsupported.
Blood & Canvas: Bareknuckle Boxing is scheduled to launch on Steam, the Epic Games Store and itch.io on 4 November 2026 at $24.99, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions planned for 2027. Players can download the free demo and wishlist the full game on Steam, or watch the official trailer below.
