MR. RECORDS Gets a Free Steam Demo Ahead of Steam Next Fest

MR. RECORDS has opened its doors early. Publisher Wired Productions and developer Glee-Cheese Studio released the rhythm adventure’s first public demo on Steam on 22 September 2026, giving players a chance to meet George and explore the record shop he has dreamed of opening.

The game divides George’s days between helping customers find music and stepping into the worlds hidden within his collection. Conversations and clues guide his recommendations in the shop. When a record plays, its music transforms into a rhythm platforming sequence where George runs, jumps, slides and dodges in time with the beat.

The free Steam demo contains seven handcrafted levels and introduces the beginning of George’s story. The full game promises more than 40 levels, with original tracks spanning funk, progressive rock, hip-hop, electro and other styles. George’s dog Buzz also joins him on parts of the journey.

Alongside the demo, Wired Productions confirmed PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. They join the previously announced PC and Nintendo Switch 2 editions. The full game does not yet have a release date, but PC players can try the demo now and wishlist MR. RECORDS on Steam. The new trailer below offers a look at both the shop and its musical worlds.
