Parasite Eve 2 is a interesting mix of survival horror and role playing elements. It features an interesting storyline and the parasite energies adds a unique flavor to the combat.
Gameplay: Disturbingly good fun.
Graphics: Very good for the system.
Sound: Worth cranking up

If you enjoyed GTA IV then you will love these two new episodes. It might have taken a while to reach the PC, but the wait was definitely worth it and together these two games represents excellent value for money. A must-buy for every Grand Theft Auto fan.
Gameplay: Same awesome new additions to an already great game.
Graphics: Needs a hefty PC, but is worth it.
Sound: Still one of the best soundtracks and voice acting in the business

Five years in the making and still impressive, Alan Wake is one of the best exclusives on the system. The story is utterly compelling and the gameplay has just the right amount of action and tension to keep you hooked to the end. There’s a few minor issues here and there but overall this is a solid game that deserves to be played by all fans of the genre.
Gameplay: Tense flashlight and firearm battles with the Taken and some good story sections.
Graphics: Nicely done and really gives the impression of a large gameworld even if you are mostly restricted to a linear path.
Sound: Good sound effects and good voice acting

With so much potential and clearly a lot of work put into the audio and visuals, its hard not to be disappointed by the lackluster level designs and imprecise controls. This Ultimate Sith Edition includes all downloadable content from the console versions plus an extra level set on Hoth, but the rather large download size (30GB) and host of annoyances makes this one for the die-hard Star Wars fans only.
Gameplay: Ultimately could have been so much better. Still playable, but not living up to the standards of the Jedi Knight series.
Graphics: Excellent art style and some visually stunning locations.
Sound: Decent voice acting and stellar audio

Despite its flaws, Prototype 2 is a action-packed romp that allows you to decimate everything in your sight. While the story is rather weak, there are enough cool powers and crazy moves to keep you interested. If all you crave is some mindless action, then Prototype 2 is your game.
Gameplay: Uppercutting helicopters have never been this much fun.
Graphics: Good, but not great.
Sound: The swearing is a bit OTT, but otherwise the audio is not bad

While the XBOX360 has yet to get its own God Of War beater Dante’s Inferno does a damn good job of imitating the antics of Kratos. The action is fast and frantic with some hideous creatures and a interesting story. While those expecting a faithful recreation of the original Poem might not be impressed by what Visceral Games have done to the story, this should not deter you from giving it a go.
Gameplay: Lots of hacking, slashing and a dash of puzzle solving.
Graphics: Hell looks as grim as the poet described it, but also suffers from the usual dull brown and red tones.
Sound: The screams of the damned sound as terrifying as they should

Beyond: Two Souls definitely improve on Heavy Rain in a few areas, but the story just didn’t have the same impact for me. The cleaner interface and tighter controls make the experience a lot more streamlined, but the way that the story jumps around makes it a bit less immersive in my opinion. The visuals, animations and voice acting are all top-notch and Beyond: Two Souls is without a doubt one of the best looking games on the system. There is plenty of variety, but sadly also lots of padding that ultimately drags the experience down a notch or two.
Gameplay: A streamlined interface and better controls, but the story is not as gripping as Heavy Rain.
Graphics: Some of the best visuals you will ever see on PS3.
Sound: Using professional actors to provide the voices made all the difference in the world

I had my reservations about the new Dante, but still ended up enjoying this game due to the involved combat system. Ninja Theory knows how to create action packed games and while it is quite a departure from past titles in the series, this reboot should appeal to fans. Provided you can look past the redesigned Dante that is.
Gameplay: More accessible than previous titles, but with enough depth for veterans.
Graphics: Not bad, but certainly not the best the system has to offer.
Sound: Mostly good voice acting and fitting music

After the excellence of the previous game there were a lot of expectations riding on this sequel and gladly it does not disappoint. God Of War 2 is every bit as good as the original and surpasses it in many areas. There are lots of visceral combat sequences and you’ll be cracking just as many tough puzzles as enemy skulls in this epic game.
Gameplay: Brutal and over the top with a nice mixture of puzzles thrown in with the combat.
Graphics: Some of the most epic set pieces seen in a PS2 game.
Sound: Epic orchestral soundtrack and good voice acting

Technical issues aside, Silent Hill: Downpour lacks the atmosphere of earlier titles in the series. The scares just isn’t there and while the monster encounters have been toned down considerably the combat is still clunky and the creatures uninspiring. I had fun with the game, but it could have been so much better.
Gameplay: Let down by technical issues and a lack of scares.
Graphics: Looking very dated.
Sound: Good but not great
