Hyper-5 by Hyper Productions is a cinematic shmup inspired by classics from the “golden era” of the ’90s. Players arrive on planet 4GTD with their deep space scout ship in response to a distress beacon but instead find an unknown enemy lying in wait. The five levels in Hyper-5 are spread out across air, over land, and even underwater, while the three different playing modes are suitable for all skill levels. Thanks to the challenge-based progression system, there are also plenty of weapons, ship upgrades, and gallery entries to unlock along the way. Flight of the Athena by A To Play is a twin-stick shooter featuring roguelite elements. Players must fight through a procedurally generated campaign and take on the enemy fleet to earn new craft, weapons, and upgrades. Multiple difficulty settings are available to ensure that everyone from casual players to hardcore shooter fans can enjoy the experience. It also features a local co-op mode for up to four players. Hot Wheels Unleashed by Milestone allows players to collect the best vehicles in the famous toy franchise and build their own spectacular tracks on which to race them. In addition to taking on CPU racers, players can race each other in split-screen multiplayer or take the challenge online to compete with up to 12 opponents. The Hot Wheels cars are great at drifting around corners, and a boost meter is perfect for clearing massive loops or overtaking opponents. Pretty Girls Breakout! is an anime-themed take on the popular Breakout genre and features a selection of girls, all with different costumes to unlock. The gameplay is essentially the same as traditional Breakout games, with the exception of not just moving a paddle left and right, but controlling a little character who can swing a paddle at incoming balls and projectiles. It’s not a very long game, but it is affordable and offers a relaxing way to kill some time.
Gameplay: Very straightforward, but later levels can be challenging.
Graphics: The character sprites are beautiful, and the visuals are very colorful overall.
Sound: A decent selection of tunes and sound effects

Flewfie’s Adventure is a cute and colorful game about a cat in a UFO fighting equally adorable enemies across unique worlds. The 2D visuals pack a lot of color and detail, while the game also features a surprising amount of bosses. It’s not the most challenging game on the market, but there’s plenty of collectibles and even an optional card game hiding beneath the vibrant visuals. Younger players will enjoy this colorful adventure the most, but it has something for everyone, provided you are not afraid of cuteness and colors.
Gameplay: A lengthy adventure packed with optional quests and collectibles.
Graphics: Very colorful and filled with adorable characters.
Sound: The soundtrack is very decent with a surprising amount of variety

Players must strike the ball at the right time to break the blocks and unlock costumes for the girls. There are more than 20 different character costumes and stages to choose from, but players must keep an eye on the time limit if they want to succeed. Taito Corporation has some good news for PC owners who watched with envy as Bubble Bobble 4 Friends launched on Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 last year. The game will also be released on Steam this Summer as Bubble Bobble 4 Friends: The Baron’s Workshop.
