It makes for a very entertaining experience as you race around in a transforming vehicle while taking down enemies. Levels are short but action-packed, and while the campaign is short, there is plenty of additional content to keep players coming back for more. Don’t let the fact that this was originally a mobile title put you off; Agent Intercept is a blast to play on PC.

Gameplay: Easy to pick up and play, but hard to stop.

Graphics: The game looks great and has plenty of visual options to tweak.

Sound: The soundtrack and sound effects are brilliant

Gameplay: The game is not easy, but beating its challenges is very rewarding.

Graphics: The retro-inspired visuals are actually very detailed and superbly animated.

Cloud Cutter is a straightforward shoot ’em up that updates the classic formula with impressive modern visuals. The game features 13 intense levels that can be played alone or with a friend as you blast land, sea, and air-based enemies to bits. It doesn’t attempt to innovate or subvert the genre in any way but does a great job of bringing classic arcade shoot ’em up action to modern audiences.

Gameplay: Destroy everything in sight while trying to stay alive.

While it lacks some of the features and enhancements introduced in sequels, Gal*Gun Returns is still a fun title with plenty of humor and lots of fanservice. It’s rather tame by the standards of the series and can become repetitive after a while, but it is definitely not lacking in content. As a bishōjo rail shooter game, it is a very niche title, but players who can appreciate the tongue-in-cheek humor will enjoy Gal*Gun Returns.

Gameplay: A straightforward rail shooter with plenty of girls and modes.

Graphics: The character models look great, but the backgrounds are a little plain.

Sound: Full Japanese voice acting and some nice tunes too

Redout revives the anti-gravity racing genre with beautiful tracks that can be raced at blistering speeds. The career mode has enough events and tracks to keep players busy for ages, and the physics-based racing feels very intuitive once mastered. It’s not an easy game, but players who stick with it will have a lot of fun.

Gameplay: Redout is one of the fastest racers on the market.

Graphics: The game features eye-catching environments that look great at high speed.

Sound: The dynamic soundtrack with full 5.1 support sounds great
