Inscryption is a dark and inventive card-based adventure that combines roguelike deckbuilding, escape-room puzzles, and psychological horror. Its opening act is exceptional, the card mechanics are satisfying, and the story constantly finds ways to surprise players. While the later sections are not always as compelling as the cabin-based beginning, the complete package is strange, clever, unsettling, and absolutely worth experiencing.

Gameplay: Excellent card-based mechanics mixed with clever puzzles and surprising structural shifts, although some later sections are less satisfying than the opening act.

Graphics: Distinctive, atmospheric visuals that use darkness, rough card art, and changing styles to great effect.

Sound: Excellent audio design and music that enhance the unsettling atmosphere without relying too heavily on cheap scares

Pretty Girls Speed takes the classic card game and wraps it in the colorful anime aesthetic that fans of the series have come to expect. The fast-paced gameplay rewards quick reactions and keeps matches exciting, while the two game modes provide enough variety to remain engaging. Although it doesn’t stray far from its source material, it is another solid and enjoyable addition to the Pretty Girls lineup.

Gameplay: Fast-paced and addictive, with real-time matches that reward quick thinking and rapid reactions.

Graphics: Attractive anime artwork and a clean interface that keeps the action easy to follow.

Sound: Upbeat music and Japanese voice acting complement the energetic gameplay nicely

The Zachtronics Solitaire Collection

The Zachtronics Solitaire Collection delivers exactly what it promises in the name, with eight polished and very addictive variations of solitaire. Seven of these titles were originally launched as mini-games for Zachtronics titles released between 2016 and 2022, but the collection also includes one new variation. The convenience of having all these titles as part of one collection is excellent, and the updated 4K graphics are also a big plus. While solitaire fans will have a blast with this collection, it is also accessible enough to appeal to new players looking for a way to kill some time.

Gameplay: All of the solitaire variations included in this collection are very polished and highly addictive.

Graphics: Each game in the collection has its own unique look, and the overall presentation is very good.

Sound: The music is excellent, which is good as you’ll be hearing the tunes for hours while playing

You’ll also want to keep an eye on your health and grab the healing potions needed to keep the porky protagonist alive. All in all, it plays like a typical role-playing game but presented in the most accessible way possible

Jewel Match Twilight Solitaire is a polished solitaire title with a vampire theme. Three difficulty levels mean that the game can be as easy or challenging as you want it to be and it even includes a bunch of mahjong levels for variation. This is definitely a great game for fans of the genre and one that can keep you busy for quite some time if you are a perfectionist.

Gameplay: Two hundred levels of solitaire fun along with 50 optional mahjong levels.

Graphics: If you like vampires, then you’ll love the visual style of the game.

Sound: Decent tunes, but they can become a little repetitive after a while

Luck plays a significant role in the game, which is unavoidable for the genre, but careful planning and using the right items can help a lot. This means the game is much more strategic than you might think, and we can heartily recommend it to fans of the genre.

Gameplay: The solitaire-based gameplay is addictive, as always, but the addition of duels and other elements makes it even better.

Graphics: The art and design of the game look great, and everything feels very polished.

Sound: Sadly, there is no voice acting, but everything from the music to the sound effects is top-notch

It packs a ton of replay value and there is always another level of fame, a new deck strategy or better equipment waiting for you to draw you back in. While it might seem very simple at first, the game has plenty of depth without sacrificing accessibility. Fans of the genre will love every minute and even newcomers shouldn’t hesitate to grab this game.

Gameplay: Deceptively simple, but extremely addictive, this is a game that can keep you busy for a long time.

Graphics: Features the charming art-style that Nerdook titles are known for, but much more polished and detailed than previous titles.
