Occult by Renderise is an online co-op horror game where players need to confront evil cultists, horrible monsters, and ancient curses. The game recently left Steam Early Access and features two distinct locations for players to explore. These include the Mansion of the collector of antiquities, as well as a psychiatric hospital. The House of the Dead Remake sees the return of the original Sega classic rail-shooter with some brand new visuals. The game looks better than ever, but it is still a very short-lived experience. This makes it great for players who don’t mind replaying the handful of levels while aiming for higher scores, but everyone else might find it a little too bare-bones.
Gameplay: Shooting zombies is fun, but the game sticks to the handful of levels from the original game, which means it can be completed in less than an hour.
Graphics: The new visuals look great and the game doesn’t shy away from blood and dismemberment either.
Sound: The voice acting and sound effects are authentic, but the remake lacks the soundtrack from the original

Regular Factory: Escape Room by mc2games is an escape room game that challenges players to solve puzzles, decode secret codes, find hidden objects and investigate different rooms in a secret factory. All the puzzles are based on logic, and the atmospheric setting will keep players on their toes as they try and unravel the truth. JANITOR BLEEDS is a first-person, retro-themed horror title set inside the confines of an old arcade. Players must explore the arcade while avoiding a malevolent entity that has escaped the confines of a sinister arcade machine. Finding tokens and playing this arcade game, called JANITOR, is also the only way to influence players’ surroundings in the actual arcade, which makes for interesting puzzles. There’s not much here that hasn’t been done before, but JANITOR BLEEDS is brief and entertaining enough to keep players hooked to the end.
Gameplay: Exploring the creepy arcade is fun and avoiding the entity isn’t too much of a chore.
Graphics: The low-poly visuals ups the creepiness of the game, but the art style is not for everyone.
Sound: The sparse music and creepy chiptune theme of JANITOR BLEEDS keeps the game suspenseful

Ghost on the Shore is a first-person exploration game that is thin on puzzles or challenges but delivers in terms of story and characters. Players are taken on a walking tour of the Rogue Islands with a headstrong ghost as a companion. Together the duo has to figure out what happened in the past on this charming but seemingly desolate island and what it means for their futures. Players who dislike walking simulators can give this game a miss, but anyone who enjoys a good story and memorable characters should definitely give it a shot.
Gameplay: There is lots of walking, but the environments are pleasant to explore, and the story is captivating.
Graphics: The watercolor painting aesthetic of the game is a good match for the story.
Sound: Decent voice acting and a great soundtrack

Skotos by KomodoBit Games is a terrifying first-person platform game that will make you brave the darkness to survive. Armed only with a lantern, players must journey through ominous environments while solving platforming puzzles. Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials is a selection of ten challenges based around stealth, puzzle-solving, combat, and movement. These challenges are not really the best showcase of what makes the original game so great, but some of them are fun for a playthrough or two. Players searching for more story content are better off with the later DLC.
Gameplay: Some challenges are fun, but most are unlikely to hold your attention for long.
Graphics: The same style as the main game, but with a Void twist to each area.
Sound: Still good, but no story or dialogue worth mentioning

Step into the stealthy boots of a master assassin and eliminate your foes through violence or cunning in this immersive first-person title. Eliminating your enemies with deadly gadgets or supernatural powers is a blast, but playing as a silent shadow that is never seen is arguably even more fun. Dishonored might not have the most original storyline, but the amount of freedom it gives players makes for a very memorable experience.
Gameplay: There is a lot of freedom to be as violent or stealthy as you wish.
Graphics: Great art style and plenty of attention to detail.
Sound: Stellar voice acting despite some repetition
