Greak: Memories of Azur

Greak: Memories of Azur

Greak: Memories of Azur is a charming puzzle platformer with the unique premise of being able to control three characters at once. This gimmick definitely has its moments where it shines, but it can become a little cumbersome for many parts of the game. Nevertheless, the beautiful hand-drawn visuals and orchestral soundtrack make for a memorable experience, and the game is still a lot of fun despite the occasional frustrating bits.

Gameplay: Controlling three characters at once is fun at times but often a little cumbersome.

Graphics: The game has beautiful backgrounds and great hand-drawn animations.

Sound: The orchestral soundtrack of Greak: Memories of Azur is incredible

The Outer Worlds

The Outer Worlds

The Outer Worlds combines some of the best elements from Fallout: New Vegas with a retro-futuristic pulp sci-fi setting. It features plenty of dark humor as well as great dialog and a lot of freedom when it comes to getting in and out of sticky situations. The interface could have been a bit better, but the game still had us hooked for the 30+ hours it took us to complete the main quest and most of the side missions. If you enjoy single-player role-playing games, then you are going to love this one.

Gameplay: Very addictive and while not as vast in scope as other open-world games, you are still given plenty of freedom.

Graphics: The game world is very colorful and there’s plenty of beautiful locations.

Sound: Great voice acting and a good soundtrack

DESYNC

DESYNC

Assault your eyes, ears, and self-confidence with this ultra-challenging first-person shooter by The Foregone Syndicate. Desync is an all-out action fest that doesn’t believe in hand-holding or pulling punches. This can make it an extremely frustrating game, but also very satisfying when you master the skills required to stand a chance. The visuals are stylish but blinding, while the music is outstanding. If you prefer playing your shooters on the easiest setting or are easily frustrated, this is probably not the game for you, but if you want to really test your skills, this is the game to get.

Gameplay: Desync is fast, frantic, and very unforgiving.

Graphics: The Tron-style visuals are stylish but a little headache-inducing after a while.

Sound: The sound effects lack a little punch, but the music is excellent
