Roundguard

Roundguard

It would be easy to dismiss Roundguard as a Peggle clone, but this is far from the case. While it uses the same addictive formula as Popcap’s title, the developers have wrapped it up in a full-fledged dungeon crawler complete with health, enemies, bosses, and loot. Roundguard is also not a game you’ll complete once and be done with, as the roguelike elements, character classes, relics, and randomized elements boost its replay value. The game has a surprising amount of depth but is simple enough to understand that even casual players will have a blast.

Gameplay: The game is easy to pick up and play but addictive enough to keep you hooked.

Graphics: Roundguard features charming characters, and even the enemies look great.

Sound: The audio consists of catchy music and upbeat sound effects

Buildings Have Feelings Too!

Buildings Have Feelings Too!

Buildings Have Feelings Too! is an unorthodox title where the focus is on constructing, upgrading, and shuffling around buildings. Unlike most titles in this genre, the game is completely 2D and all the action takes place on the y-axis, which is unusual, to say the least. Due to a clunky user interface, some tedious elements, and a couple of difficulty spikes this game won’t appeal to everyone. However, if you get hooked by its charming visuals and can overlook some of the more cumbersome elements there is fun to be had here.

Gameplay: A little more tedious and cumbersome than it needs to be, but puzzle fans will enjoy the challenge.

Graphics: It’s hard not to smile at the sight of buildings ambling about on little legs.

Sound: The music and sound effects are decent

Plague Inc. The Cure Free For All Plague Inc. Players Until COVID-19 Is Under Control

Plague Inc. The Cure Free For All Plague Inc. Players Until COVID-19 Is Under Control

Back when Plague Inc was first released not even the developers could have imagined that the current state of our world would resemble their game. The game is a strategic simulation that challenges players to bring about the end of human history using a deadly global plague. It’s terrifying stuff and the game is so realistic that the CDC even asked the developer to do a talk about the infection models in the game. However, in light of the current situation in the world, Ndemic Creations has released a major new expansion for the game titled Plague Inc. Evolved: The Cure. It is a complete reversal from the classic game and instead of destroying the world challenges players to try and control the global pandemic response

Terminal Conflict Now Out of Early Access

Terminal Conflict Now Out of Early Access

The purpose of Steam Early Access was to get unfinished games in front of Steam users and then continue development while benefiting from their feedback. Unfortunately, this meant that a lot of games ended up in Early Access limbo or were abandoned when funds and or interest ran out. Thankfully, this is not the case with Terminal Conflict, which after being deployed on Steam in 2018, has now left Early Access
