New Gameplay Teaser Revealed For Goner

New Gameplay Teaser Revealed For Goner

The developers of Goner, the dinosaur survival adventure game currently on Kickstarter, has revealed a brand new gameplay teaser. Goner has already reached its Kickstarter goal, but with three days left it is also within reach of its second stretch goal. If achieved, this stretch goal will see a quetzalcoatlus added to the game. This pterosaur dates back to the Late Cretaceous period and was apparently one of the largest known flying animals of all time, so it is certainly something that we would love to see in the game. If quetzalcoatlus is added it will also come with new game mechanics and interactions

Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories

Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories

Disaster Report 4 is more about the human drama in the aftermath of a huge earthquake than survival, but it is still a very enjoyable experience. The tone of the game is all over the place and the gameplay lacks some polish, but a lot of times this just adds to the charm. This is definitely not a game for everyone, though, so make very sure you know what you are getting into before getting Disaster Report 4.

Gameplay: A unique and very unpredictable experience that lacks polish, but makes up for it with plenty of charm.

Graphics: There are a few epic scenes, but the animations are a little janky.

Sound: The voice-acting is Japanese only and the rest of the audio isn’t exactly memorable

Die Young

Die Young

Die Young is an impressive open-world title in which you play a young woman named Daphne trying to survive the dangers of a remote Mediterranean island. It is extremely satisfying to explore the vast island and slowly piece together the story. Seeing everything that Die Young has to offer should keep players busy for ages, and apart from a few technical issues, the game comes highly recommended.

Gameplay: Exploring the vast island is a lot of fun, and there are many things to see and do.

Graphics: Die Young is a great-looking game once you max out all the visual options.

Sound: The game features a decent soundtrack and sound effects, but some of the voice acting could be better

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where you take control of eight protagonists who are not just fighting for their own survival, but also trying to figure out the meaning of their never-ending cycles of life and death

Xenocide

Xenocide

Apart from an interesting gameplay gimmick on each of each five levels, Xenocide is a fairly basic and generic top down shooter. It only has five levels, a very limited selection of guns and a paltry amount of power-ups. Shooting waves of enemies while trying to stay alive is still fun for a short while, but it won’t take long to experience everything on offer and then grow bored of the repetition. While the basis for a good game is definitely there, Xenocide just never does anything to elevate it above the competition, which is a real pity as it had potential.

Gameplay: Running and shooting will always be fun, but the lack of weapons and variety results in repetition way too soon.

Graphics: The visuals are competent enough, but a little too bland.

Sound: Unimpressive sound effects, but the soundtrack at least sounds good
