Waltz and Jam Reveals More of Its Hand-Drawn Afterlife in New Trailer

A new gameplay trailer for Waltz and Jam debuted during the Game Devs of Color Expo Direct on 25 September 2026. The hand-drawn action adventure from Flyway Games follows a lost ghost named Waltz and a spirit puppy, Jam, through an unusual afterlife.

Their journey spans seven realms inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins. Each area brings its own environments, secrets, puzzles, enemies and boss encounters as the pair work toward the Gate of Judgement. The new footage offers another look at the game’s colourful world and the ways Waltz and Jam tackle its obstacles together.

Jam is central to more than the story. The puppy gains transformations that can open routes and help solve environmental puzzles, including a water ball and a trampoline. Waltz can also collect toys with different powers, using them to interact with contraptions, clear paths and fight enemies. The combination gives the pair more ways to explore each realm as their abilities grow.

Flyway Games has not announced a release date. Waltz and Jam is in development for PC and can be wishlisted on Steam. Watch the new trailer below for a closer look at Waltz, Jam and the worlds awaiting them.
