Brace Your Self For These Upcoming 2020 Game – Changers
Video Games! There is always a steady stream of new releases in the pipeline. However, there are some pretty impressive things currently in the works that you can expect to get your mitts on by the end of 2020, if not before. In fact, some of them may change the industry entirely. Read on to find out what they are and when you can expect them to drop.
The Last of Us Part II
One of the first games you can expect to get hold of in 2020 in the sequel in The Last of Us Series. In fact, from the time of publishing, it will be released in a mere 10 days! (Cue excited noises and rave horns!)
As you probably already know, The Last of Us series are zombie survival games that see protagonist Ellie, and Joel pits their wits against the mindless hoards.
However, in the first game, we mainly see Joel taking the primary role as the pair travel through the post-pandemic US. While The Last of Us Part II is all about Ellie Journey from Jacksonville, Wyoming, into the wider world. A trip she takes because their group of survivors she and Joel had settled down with becomes disrupted.
In fact, opinions so far suggest that developers Naughty Dog has outdone themselves in this release. With a rich and complex story that the player can really get behind.
Of course, just like with any popular release, you can expect plenty of limited mediation merch to enhance your gameplay expense. With a custom The Last of Us Part II PS4 pro numbering among them!
Valorant
Hailed as the usurper of other much loved first-person shooters such as COD, Valorant is getting a lot of press right now.
Developed by Riot Games, fans have been waiting for the general release since October of last year. Although some lucky peeps have got to test their mettle in the closed Beta that is currently running.
Of course, as Valorant is a PC game that plays on Windows, it does mean that you will need the right kit to enjoy your experience. In particular, choosing the right mouse is essential. Luckily, you can use this mouse sensitivity converter for the new game Valorant to help you select the correct one. Something that is touted as being pretty crucial because Valorant is all about the accuracy of shooting. That means that unlike other games of its genre that we could mention here, gunplay accuracy will actually make a difference!
The good news is that Valorant will be free to play, and with a release date expected sometime this summer. Therefore you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on what could be a modern classic FPS.
Outriders
If shooters are your thing, but you prefer them in the third person that outriders due to be released by People Can Fly this December may be a better pick.
However, Outriders isn’t just a TPS but also a dark and gritty experience set in the future. In fact, in this game, you won’t find yourself on Earth at all but on the planet Enoch. Where you will have to wander the land in search of a mysterious signal.
Of course, you can expect some pretty gnarly enemies along the way, but fear not! After all, you will be equipped with some pretty devastating weapons too. Also, with the option to play as a team, you’ll have your compatriots to rely on.
In particular, Outriders stands out because it has elements of both fast past TPS and RPG. Something that makes it a much more engaging and in-depth experience and will likely have you playing for months if not years to come.
Cyberpunk 2077
You’re going to have to wait until September for Cyberpunk 2077 to come out. However, the word on the street is that wait may well be worth your while.
This is because Cyberpunk 2077 is an RPG where you get to explore Night City that not only has some pretty impressive gameplay but looks great as well.
In fact, the immersive world that Cyberpunk 2077 is based on comes from a 1980’s subgenre of science fiction named Cyberpunk. First made famous by writers like William Gibson, whose stories were used as the basis of films such as The Matrix.
Oh, and while we’re talking about the Matrix, you may notice some famous faces appealing in Cyberpunk 2077 too. Keanu Reeves, for example. All of which should make for an entertaining and exhilarating ride.
Mang May 20, 2020
I’m mostly looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 and the new Vampire the Masquerade game. Baldurs Gate III also looks like it could be a great game if they stick to what made the first two cult classics.
