Genesis for Game Boy Pre-Order Now Live

Game Boy owners who are still fondly hanging on to their 8-bit monochrome hardware are in for a treat as a brand new shoot ’em up is heading their way. The game is titled Genesis, and it was created for the original Nintendo Game Boy using GBDK. Developed by studio 7FH and published by Incub8 Games, the pre-order of Genesis is now live until June 7th, 2021.

In proper shoot ’em up fashion, players will have to fight their way through hordes of enemies in Genesis and then defeat the boss awaiting them at the end of each action-packed level. The game promises test players reflexes as they must dodge enemy fire while collecting the siled energy and power-ups they leave behind.

Genesis features four action-packed levels in total and is fully compatible with all Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance handhelds. The game’s standard edition costs $ 44.99/£32.35/€37.20, and those who place their order within the pre-order window will also score some awesome promo stickers. While the limited edition Genesis stickers sheet is limited to pre-sale versions, all versions include a sealed box, black game cartridge, cartridge protector, and game manual.
