Gunfire Reborn Celebrates Lunar New Year With New Hero And A Sale

Gunfire Reborn, the fun co-op roguelike by Duoyi (Hong Kong) Interactive Entertainment Limited, is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a new hero and a sale. The game, which is currently on Steam Early Access, combines FPS, roguelite, and RPG elements. Since its release last May, it has been well received and sales have already exceeded one million copies.

For their first major update of 2021, the developers have gone all out and added not just a brand new hero, but also a new boss as well as two new weapons. The new hero, Lei Luo, has command of thunder that he can use to hit his enemies. He can also use his “Fatal Current” skill to buff himself or use his secondary skill of “Chain Lightning” to zap enemies with lightning bolts.

Wind God is the new random boss that players will get to face and it has the power of flight, so take care. Last, but not least, are the two new weapons; Flowing Light and Strike Wing. FLowing Light can thrust forward five times after a short charge time while hitting targets with Strike Wing causes three arrows to split off in the direction of enemies behind the target. Thanks to this update the game will also feature new talents along with additional achievements.
