Incoming DLC for DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours
We have some good news for fans of DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours as its publisher, Degica, announced some brand new DLC for the game. First up is the Darius Odyssey art book, which was previously available exclusively on the PS4. PC owners will soon be able to grab it for $14.99 USD or along with the base game for $59.99 USD.
Also coming soon for all versions of DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours are three new DLC packs. Titled RayForce, Night Striker, and Metal Black, these packs will each include one new ship. Shooter fans will find these names familiar as they were all classic arcade titles released by Taito. This means that the ships included in the DLC packs are the ones from the game of the same name. In addition to the new ships these packs will also include unique levels along with remixed music from the titular games.
According to Degica these new levels will play similarly to CS mode (in 16:9 aspect ratio) and the DLC ships can only be used in the DLC levels. Players can however use ships from the base game in the DLC levels. No price is available for the three DLC packs yet, but they sound like great additions to the already content packed main game. With this being the first content based on these Taito games in many years we are quite excited to get our hands on the packs.
Interestingly enough DARIUSBURST Chronicle Saviours will also launch in Japan on January 14th, 2016. It doesn’t happen often that a Japanese developer release a game in the West first!
