Larry Returning Soon In Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Dry Twice

One of the most surprising comebacks that we’ve seen in recent years was when Leisure Suit Larry surfaced again in 2018. It introduced a leaner looking Larry trying to navigate the perils of online dating while coming to terms with how much the world has changed in his 30-year absence. The game wasn’t without flaws but showed that the developers, CrazyBunch, understood the character and had what it takes to create an entertaining adventure around his bumbling exploits. It also seems that we haven’t seen the last of Larry as the publisher of Wet Dreams Don’t Dry, Assemble Entertainment, has announced a sequel.

Fans won’t have to wait very long to see Larry back in action as the next game, titled Wet Dreams Dry Twice, will be launching on PC this October. The game promises to deliver the same tongue-in-cheek puns and avant-garde humor that has propelled the franchise into the hearts of fans. Apparently, Larry is ready to finally settle down once and for all and put his womanizing past behind him. The story follows on from Wet Dreams Don’t Dry with Larry stranded in Camcum after leaving behind New Lost Wages. Unforeseen events interrupt his plans to marry Faith and after they become separated Larry is determined to find her again. Unfortunately, the wild and untamed islands of Kalau’a has plenty of things to distract him from this mission.

According to Assemble Entertainment CEO, Stefan Marcinek, it has been a labor of love to bring Larry Laffer back to his adoring fans. He also praised CrazyBunch for the job they did with repositioning Larry in the modern age while retaining the mostly-SFW humor of the franchise. Wet Dreams Dry Twice will feature the same point & click controls as its predecessor and players will have to guide Larry in his self-made boat through various islands. Players will get to explore more than 50 beautifully hand-drawn locations and meet over 40 characters, both new and old. Of course, there will also be plenty of puzzles to solve along the way

Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Dry Twice is set to release on Windows PC and Mac on October 15, 202. The game will be available on Steam and GoG for $34.99 USD.
