Magical Eyes – Red is for Anguish Coming To Steam

The catalog of visual novels on Steam continues to grow and the latest entry is the upcoming Magical Eyes – Red is for Anguish. It is a mystery themed visual novel from POMERA Studios and will be hitting Steam on March 30 thanks to independent game publisher, Fruitbat Factory.

According to the press release the game will have a mystery story that is based around a series of unfathomable incidents that occur in a town. These events include the owner of a general store getting his arm amputated in the middle of the night by, what he claims is, one of the dolls from his shop. Since neither the doll or its gory prize can be found at the scene of the crime his claims are met with some skepticism.

The mysterious tale will be backed up by some stellar illustrations as well as the work of talented voice actors and actresses. The scene selection in the game will be map-based and it will also feature a “reasoning” system that allows players to unlock bonus content. The game will make full use of Steam features, such as trading cards, achievements as well as Cloud support.

The price for Magical Eyes – Red is for Anguish has been set at $14.99, but can be ordered with a 10% discount from the official Fruitbat Factory store.
