New Gameplay Trailer Unveiled For Off-Road Simulation Overpass
The wait is over for everyone eager to see what Overpass, the upcoming off-road simulation developed by Zordix Racing and published by Bigben will have to offer. The first gameplay footage of the game has been unveiled in a new trailer, which highlights its unique and innovative concept.
Overpass will offer players the opportunity to control 25 buggies and quads from big-name manufacturers such as Arctic Cat, Polaris, Suzuki, and Polaris. These vehicles can be taken for a spin on the 40 routes in varied terrain and environments that will be available. The game promises to have obstacle-filled tracks that are extreme and technically challenging. Each race will also feature a new challenge ranging from hill climbing to rock-crawling which players will have to overcome in their bid to finish in the best time possible.
The game promises to offer a combination of realistic and technical level design, which along with the advanced physics engine, will result in gameplay that is fun, but challenging. With mud, sand, rocks, as well as natural and man-man obstacles to deal with, players will find a unique test no matter what terrain they take on. This also means that for the best results, players will have to choose the vehicle that is best suited to the selected track and then adapt their driving style. This is going to be a game where speed is not always the answer. Instead, players will have to master acceleration, use the transmission and differentials wisely and know when it is best to shift from two-to four-wheel drive. These are just some of the many options that players will have to master if they have their sights set on off-road victory. Overpass will also feature a nice selection of game modes, including Career, Quick Race, as well as both local and online multiplayer.
Overpass is scheduled for release in February 2020 and will be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch as well as PC. In the meantime, take a look at the gameplay trailer below for an idea what to expect. Also, remember to give Bigben Interactive a follow on Twitter for more information.
