Extreme Air Racing Becomes Even More Social With Latest Multiplayer Updates To Altitude0

Altitude0: Lower & Faster is a racing game with an aerial twist. Instead of confining players to the road this racer allows players to take to the skies. Don’t expect tranquil flights in the wild blue yonder though as races are kept low, fast and very risky. Going lower means more speed, but with a plethora of threatening obstacles this is easier said than done. While most people have been taking a well-earned break over the holiday season, Gugila, the indie developer behind this Early Access title has been hard at work updating the game with some new multiplayer focused features.

First up is the brand new Team Play mode where every player contributes to the score of their team. Players are divided into two teams of four players each and every point counts. According to the developers Team Play is not all about winning, so less skilled players don’t have to stress about letting their side down.

The game now also allows for player organized races where players can use the track editor to build their own tracks and then create competitions. The race organizer can even encourage players to join their races by gifting Steam tradable items. In addition, everyone is allowed to contribute items to the price pool to up the stakes and make the races more rewarding.

For more information about the game check out the Steam store page and forums. Altitude0: Lower & Faster can also be picked up at a 30% discount during the Steam Holiday Sale, so now is a great time to take one of the planes in the game for a spin.
