Triversal Headed To Steam In July

Fans of stimulating puzzle fans have a treat in store as Triversal is headed to Steam on July 13, 2021. The game is by Canadian independent developers Phantom Compass and promises a perfect balance of chill and challenge. As with all good puzzlers, Triversal is built on a simple concept that is easy to grasp. Players must place a glowing orb into a black hole using stretchy tethers. However, these tethers must be carefully aligned in just the right way to get the orb in position, so spatial logic is required. The game also backs up its addictive gameplay with a soothing soundtrack and gorgeous neon visuals.

As players progress through Triversal, the challenge continues to ramp up with more complex levels and more tether anchors on screen. Players can, however, make use of bonus coins to purchase helpful items, modifiers, and even more flexible nodes. Phantom Compass hasn’t forgotten about streamers either and is including a feature in the game that allows viewers to offer helpful tips thanks to an on-screen overlay.

According to Tony Walsh, the Company Director of Phantom Compass, Triversal was designed to be a chill pick up ‘n play puzzle game. He added that it is a relaxing but challenging experience that doesn’t require a huge time commitment. Although it can be played on the go or between tasks, it still contains a level of depth and polish that makes it stand out from the crowd.

Fans who can’t wait for the release on July 13 should head over to Steam, where a Playtest for the game is available until May 31, 2021. Players can request access to join the Triversal Playtest directly from the Steam store page to get notified when the developer is ready for more participants. Check out the trailer for Triversal below, and be sure to wishlist the game if you are a puzzler fan. More information can also be found on the Phantom Compass website or by following the developer on Facebook and Twitter.
