You and Me and Her: A Love Story Releasing On The JAST Store and Steam

Some exciting news for visual novel fans as JAST USA has revealed the JAST Store release of the visual novel, You and Me and Her: A Love Story, on May 5th, 2020. This will be followed by a Steam release later this month on the 25th. Also, collectors can get their hands on a limited edition physical release of the game. This NSFW collector’s edition includes both the game on DVD as well as a digital download code. However, the highlight of the physical release is the acrylic prints. These feature characters from the game, but buyers will have to mirror the fate of the protagonist in the game and pick between either Miyuki or Aoi when making their purchase as only one print is included.

For those not familiar with You and Me and Her: A Love Story, it was developed by Nitroplus, who also worked on titles such as Phantom of Inferno, Kikokugai: The Cyber Slayer, and a personal favorite of ours, Saya no Uta. The protagonist, Shinichi, wants nothing more than to lead a quiet life. It is this desire for normalcy that also prevents him from being anything more than classmates with the most popular girl in school, Miyuki. This is even though he was once close friends with her. However, things change when the class oddball, Aoi, suddenly tries to kiss Shinichi on the roof one day and Miyuki shows up to intervene. Shinichi then decides to enlist the aid of Miyuki in an effort to help Aoi with her social skills. This kindness brings Aoi closer to Shinichi, but over time Miyuki also begins to develop feelings for him. This obviously puts a strain on the friendship between the two characters and means that the time will come when Shinichi will have to choose between Miyuki or Aoi.

You and Me and Her: A Love Story features the beautiful art of Tsuji Santa who is the creator of Super Sonico and it is great to see it finally getting an English release. Steam fans can wishlist the title now on the Steam Store, while the DRM-free version can be snapped up from the JAST USA store tomorrow. Also, be sure to keep an eye on the JAST USA Twitter for more information about the game as well as their other releases.

JAST is going to lose a LOT of goodwill if they screw this one up.
