Ziggurat Adds Three New World Computing Classics To Steam

Players old enough to remember New World Computing will probably associate them with the Might and Magic as well as King’s Bounty series. However, the studio also had a couple of other interesting titles in their line-up. Now, thanks to Ziggurat, three of the mid-90s classic by New World Computing are available on Steam for the very first time. The games are Wetlands, Zephyr, and Planet’s Edge, all of which can be bought on Steam at a 33% discount until the 12th of February, 2021.

Wetlands

Wetlands was originally released in 1995 and is a cyberpunk-themed 3D rail shooter. Playing the role of a mercenary named John Cole, players are sent on a mission to bring in a dangerous scientist. The blend of 3D and hand-drawn elements, fast gameplay as well as a gritty story set it apart from the pack.

Zephyr

Zephyr is a 1994 hover-vehicle racer featuring deadly combat. It is set in a dark future where racers risk their lives for the glory of victory on the Interplanetary Battle Circuit.

Planet’s Edge

Planet’s Edge dates back to 1991 and is a galaxy-spanning adventure where players are tasked with finding a way to retrieve Earth from an unknown dimension. Players get to take part in mining, trading, exploration, and combat during their quest to locate their missing homeworld.

Retro fans will definitely want to keep an eye on Ziggurat as they have over 40 retro classics slated for release this year. New games will be appearing every month so check out their Facebook, Twitter, and official website for more information.
