Dinos Reborn Launching On PC, Playstation, and Xbox in 2022
Survival games have steadily been growing in popularity over the past few years and the latest contender to throw its hat in the ring is the upcoming Dinos Reborn by HardCodeWay and Vision Edge Entertainment. It is an open-world, first-person survival game that will launch on PC and consoles in 2022. As the title suggests, the setting for Dinos Reborn is a prehistoric sci-fi world where players will have to navigate between being predator and prey.
The danger in Dinos Reborn is not just limited to the prehistoric creatures roaming about. Players will also have to manage their hunger, thirst, and fatigue if they want to stay alive. It is a world where not taking care of an infected wound could mean the difference between life and death. Survival will also depend on things like food, water, shelter, fire, medicine, and weapons among others. This is not going to be an easy feat considering players start on this unknown planet with only their bare hands and whatever sticks and stones they can scavenge. However, these can be used to make tools, which in turn opens up the possibility of crafting weapons. The weapons can be used to hunt for food and eventually players will be able to do everything from building traps and snares to constructing fortifications, shelters, and even an entire base.
Dinos Reborn is also going to eschew the typical stat tables and character development treas in favor of something a little more organic. This will mean having to do things the old-fashioned way, such as reading books and notes as well as observing and repeating actions to hone your skills. In addition, the developers are promising that the weather system in the game will play a very prominent role. Players will have to deal with the unstable weather as thunderstorms can destroy their hard work and thick fog can make it easier to get lost. There are some advantages too, though, as heavy rain will allow players to move unnoticed and unheard.
