Good news for those eagerly awaiting Toren, the dark fantasy adventure game from Brazilian independent developer Swordtales. The final launch date for the game has been set for May 12 2015 and the game can be pre-ordered already. Toren will be available for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system as well as PC at a price of $9.99/£6.29/8.99€. PC owners can take advantage of a 10% discount when pre-ordering the game. In addition, the full original soundtrack of the game will also be available as part of the “Deluxe Edition” which is also up for pre-order.

The protagonist of Toren, Moonchild, must climb the vast tower in which the game takes place while solving puzzles and defeating monsters. Starting as an infant, Moonchild will grow to maturity over the course of the game and also discover the true origins of the tower. The beautiful art direction and unique setting ensures that Toren is an eye-catching title, but with a giant dragon awaiting players at the top of the tower it seems that action fans are in for a treat as well.

Don't Be Patchman by Naturally Intelligent

After receiving an email from Naturally Intelligent urging me to not be a Patchman, I had no choice but to check out why this character has such a bad rep. It turns out that Patchman used his celebrity status to help a drone army enslave the Sheeple, normally happy folk who used to live in harmony with nature. Through a bizarre series of events, Patchman dies after eating a vending machine, but is brought back to life by a kind old granny who sewed him back together. Now it will be up to you to help Patchman redeem himself and rescue the Sheeple from the Drone army.
