GamersGate Promo Roundup Week 23 2017
Any gamers with some time and cash to spare should definitely check out the range of great promotions over at Gamersgate this week. In addition to Capcom, Codemasters and Fruitbat Factory midweek sales, the digital distributor also has weeklong deals on titles by Aerosoft and Alawar. In addition, flash sales for Mafia and Ziggurat are on offer with discounts of up to 83%. Finally, Gamersgate also has some nice discounts on pre-orders and newly released titles, such as DiRT 4, Conarium, Guardians of the Galaxy, ELEX and Spellforce 3. The Capcom midweek sale features a range of popular titles, including Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition, Street Fighter V, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Mega Man Legacy Collection and many more. The biggest discounts are for older titles like Bionic Commando Rearmed, Remember Me and the Lost Planet titles, all of which are 80% off. However, a decent discount of 75% for titles such as DMC – Devil May Cry and Ultra Street Fighter IV are also on offer. Our favorite pick is Ducktales: Remastered (REVIEW), which is 67% off.
Also joining the midweek sale is Codemasters, with titles from their F1, Grid, Overlord and Operation Flashpoint franchises on sale. Some of their older titles, such as Maelstrom, Damnation and Rise of the Argonauts are a whopping 80% to 90% off while everything else is at least 75% off.
The last addition to the midweek sale is Fruitbat Factor, with discounts ranging from 25% all the way up to 75% for some of their titles. The sale not only includes some great titles, such as 100% Orange Juice, War of the Human Tanks and QP Shooting – Dangerous!!, but also soundtracks and DLC. Our favorite pick is Sora (Review), which is 33% off and available as a standalone title or along with its soundtracks in the Blue Sky Edition.
Fans of simulators are spoiled for choice with the Aerosoft sale, which features a 20% discount on all their titles. With a selection that includes Autobahn Police Simulator, the City Bus Simulator Series, as well as plenty of DLC for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, there is hours of content here for fans of the genre.
Fans of casual games will be able to fill a lot of gaps in their library thanks to the sheer number of titles by Alawar that is on sale. There are far too many to mention, but discounts range from 32% all the way up to 70%. With titles like Beholder, the Farm Frenzy series, the Rescue Team series and many others on offer, there’s something for everyone.
Fans of the Mafia series should act quickly as all three titles are part of a flash sale. With discounts ranging from 55% to 83% it is the perfect opportunity to try out the series or fill in any gaps in your library. For something a little different, the dungeon-crawling indie action-RPG, Ziggurat is also 77% off as part of a flash sale.
GamersGate also has a trio of titles that are available on pre-order with discounts and some enticing extras. Fans who pre-order Dirt 4 will save 15% and receive a founder icon, team booster pack as well as the Hyundai R5 rally car. Elex, the new science fantasy RPG from the people behind Gothic, has a 10% pre-order discount. Also available with a 10% pre-order discount is the third entry in the popular Spellforce series.
Last, but not the least, are three new titles that GamersGate claims to have available at some of the best prices on the market. Conarium, the chilling Lovecraftian game from Zoetrope Interactive, has a 30% discount, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is discounted by 36% and RiME, which was just patched to improve performance and remove the controversial Denuvo DRM, is 17% off.
