Packed 4th Quarter For Artifex Mundi

Popular hidden object puzzle adventure publisher, Artifex Mundi, has revealed their release schedule for the fall / winter season and it is packed to say the least. In addition to a couple of brand new titles, the publisher has also set their sights on making more of their older titles available for consoles. In addition, fans of their existing franchises can also look forward to brand new adventures for their favorite characters.

According to Jarosław Kulik, the person in charge of bringing Artifex Mundi titles to Playstation 4 and Xbox One, owners of these systems can expect the number of available games to become more equal. In the past, Artifex Mundi titles tended to be skewed more towards the “green” team, but this is about to change seeing as there are just as many fans of the publisher on the Sony side. Kulik mentioned that all upcoming Artifex Mundi titles will be available for both consoles simultaneously. It also means that the first double-launch will happen this month already, with Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden launching on Playstation 4 and Xbox One at the same time. The game itself features some beautiful art deco-inspired visuals and has a distinctly Lovecraftian feel to it. Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden scored a well deserved 8.7/10 in our REVIEW for the PC version, so console owners are in for a great. Artifex Mundi will also follow this up with a double-launch in December for Lost Grimoires 2: Shard of Mystery on both consoles. This title is more fantasy oriented and sees you playing as the Queen’s protector who is on a mission to locate the young prince who vanished just before his coronation.

Mobile and Steam users don’t have to worry about being left out in the cold either as Artifex Mundi has a couple of surprises in store for them as well. September already saw the release of Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends, which scored 8/10 in our recent REVIEW. This is going to be followed in a few days by Modern Tales: Age of Invention, a brand new adventure that is set in Paris of 1900. Some of the brightest minds of century vanished during the world expo and, as the daughter of one of the missing scientists, it is your job to figure out what is going on.

November will see the release of Endless Fables 2: Frozen Path, a game featuring plenty of snow-covered Scandinavian landscapes, which is sure to get fans in the mood for the Christmas season. It is the sequel to Endless Fables: The Minotaur’s Curse and sees the return of the intrepid heroine, Pamela Cavendish, who this time has to solve the mystery of the Norse gods. Another sequel to a popular series will arrive in December, with Lost Grimoires 3: The Forgotten Well.

We will be sure to cover these titles as they are released, but in the meantime, give Artifex Mundi a follow on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date with their titles. Don’t forget, they also have a Newsletter, so subscribe to ensure that you never miss out.
