Cali4ways Games Unveiled The Official Trailer For Boet Fighter
Cali4ways Games, an indie developer from sunny South Africa has unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming brawler, Boet Fighter, and it is a thing of beauty. Judging by the trailer, the game is definitely going to deliver on their promise of violence, traffic, hadedas, explosions, night clubs, taxis, and rugby, amongst many other things. The game draws inspiration from 2D side-scrolling classics, such as Double Dragon and Golden Axe, but infuses the action with some uniquely South African elements.
Boet Fighter is about Hard Eddy going on a rampage after the abduction of his lady love interest. Although Hard Eddy is clearly capable of taking on everyone by himself, his pal Modise “Mod-C” Cwele, will also be joining him as they beat up everyone stupid enough to stand in their way. According to Cali4ways Games, Boet Fighter also features multiple love stories, one of which is about actual love.
The developers are at least 92% confident that Boet Fighter will release on Steam in September 2019, followed shortly afterward with releases on mobile and consoles. Check out the trailer below to see Hard Eddy and Mod-C in action and be sure to stick around to the end for the surprise cameo.
