Good news for those eagerly awaiting Toren, the dark fantasy adventure game from Brazilian independent developer Swordtales. The final launch date for the game has been set for May 12 2015 and the game can be pre-ordered already. Toren will be available for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system as well as PC at a price of $9.99/£6.29/8.99€. PC owners can take advantage of a 10% discount when pre-ordering the game. In addition, the full original soundtrack of the game will also be available as part of the “Deluxe Edition” which is also up for pre-order.

The protagonist of Toren, Moonchild, must climb the vast tower in which the game takes place while solving puzzles and defeating monsters. Starting as an infant, Moonchild will grow to maturity over the course of the game and also discover the true origins of the tower. The beautiful art direction and unique setting ensures that Toren is an eye-catching title, but with a giant dragon awaiting players at the top of the tower it seems that action fans are in for a treat as well.

I guess that with the amount of loot that the average party of adventuring heroes score from killing evil beasts it was only a matter of time before an agent got involved. Saving the world is a lucrative career, which is why you see so many heroes roaming the countryside in role playing games and killing everything that moves. Thanks to ManaVoid Entertainment, players will soon be able to get themselves a nice cut of all this profit, all from the comfort of their cozy agency headquarters.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on Skyhill, the roguelike survival horror title from Mandragora, so naturally we couldn’t refuse the opportunity to try out a playable version of this title. The game opens with the protagonist, Perry Jason, booking into the VIP suite of the Skyhill hotel while on a business trip. From the 100th floor of the hotel Perry witnesses the biological attack on the city that turns everyone else into slavering monsters. Driven from his room by hunger, Perry only has one way to go, down.
