Good news for those eagerly awaiting Toren, the dark fantasy adventure game from Brazilian independent developer Swordtales. The final launch date for the game has been set for May 12 2015 and the game can be pre-ordered already. Toren will be available for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system as well as PC at a price of $9.99/£6.29/8.99€. PC owners can take advantage of a 10% discount when pre-ordering the game. In addition, the full original soundtrack of the game will also be available as part of the “Deluxe Edition” which is also up for pre-order.

The protagonist of Toren, Moonchild, must climb the vast tower in which the game takes place while solving puzzles and defeating monsters. Starting as an infant, Moonchild will grow to maturity over the course of the game and also discover the true origins of the tower. The beautiful art direction and unique setting ensures that Toren is an eye-catching title, but with a giant dragon awaiting players at the top of the tower it seems that action fans are in for a treat as well.

Mechs & Mercs - Black Talons (Camel 101)

With games such as Mechs & Mercs: Black Talons from Camel 101 looming on the horizon it would seem that 2015 is going to be another bumper year for gaming. I certainly can’t think of a much better way to kick things off than a real-time strategy game featuring mercenaries and giant mechs. Set to release early in January, Mechs & Mercs aims to offer an extensive campaign mode where players get to take control of the Black Talons mercenary company.

Sunset (Tale of Tales)

We recently had the opportunity to check out Sunset, the upcoming release from Tale of Tales. Players familiar with their previous work, such as The Path and The Graveyard, will already know that the developers have a penchant for titles that are hard to pigeonhole.

Syndrome (Camel 101)

Syndrome (Camel 101)

Looking at the previous releases of developer Camel 101 reveals two things. Firstly, they are definitely not lacking in ambition when it comes to their titles and secondly, they are getting better at what they do with each release. This is very evident in their upcoming release, Syndrome. The game opens with your character waking from cryosleep aboard the exploration and science ship, the Valkenburg. In true survival horror fashion, the shift is drifting through pace with the rest of the crew all dead or insane. You are required to get your bearings, find out what happened and figure out who you can trust.
