Help!! Zombies Scares Up A Big Halloween Update
Halloween is around the corner and what better way to celebrate it than by running away from the undead in Help!! Zombie from One Aperture LLC. In this 3D survival title players are thrown into an open world with procedurally generated levels and tasked with staying alive. There are also fellow survivors to rescue, coins to collect and tasks to complete, all while trying to stay one step ahead of the zombies. If any of the undead get their claws on your character it is game over, but before that happens, you can lead them on a merry chase around the large levels.
There are a lot of things to like about HZ, from the brilliant pixel art style to the crazy selection of characters on offer. Thanks to the intuitive controls it is easy to run and jump while dodging zombies, but care must be taken not to collide with objects or trip over things. The same goes for the zombies though, so one of the highlights of the game is leading the zombies into traps or causing them to smash into each other.
The game already features more than 50 characters, most of which can be unlocked without any purchases, and with the Halloween update the list got even longer. New characters, such as Frankenstein, Witch, Mummy and Thriller are free to use during Halloween and all look great. Watching the way that Thriller moonwalks while running backwards is particularly entertaining. The free stuff doesn’t end there either. One Aperture has also included a new map, two brand new missions, a new power up, new enemy and new weather to the Halloween update.
We will be taking a more in-depth look at Help!! Zombies soon, but suffice to say it is a free to play game that definitely belongs on your iOS or Android device. It is a lot of fun to play and packed with plenty of content to keep you busy. Best of all, the developers has planned for scheduled updates with different themes each time: new characters, new maps, and overall atmosphere.
