Aground Deluxe Edition Soundtrack Now Available

For anyone who missed out on picking up the fantastic Aground soundtrack, there’s a new incentive to do so thanks to the Deluxe Edition re-release courtesy of Materia Collective. Not only does it include the entire Aground soundtrack by composer Chase Bethea, but also has seven additional tracks that have never been heard before. Also featured are two tracks from Deity Quest along with three pieces of piano sheet music that was transcribed by Materia Collective’s David Peacock.

Aground rose to fame as a free web game that garnered over 3 million plays across multiple portals before making the transition to a full-fledged commercial title. It has kept players hooked with its beautiful pixel art and open-world exploration. Aground currently has a rating of “Very Positive” on Steam and the diverse soundtrack perfectly complements the game. Chase Bethea describes the soundtrack as an amalgamation of styles and hybrid signature sound that is undeniably unique and inimitable. He also made sure that every track has some new sound or idea to keep listeners interested. This is quite an accomplishment considering the soundtrack spans 37 tracks!
