Stick It To The Man!

Stick It To The Man is a title that is so much fun to play that you don’t want it to end. Everything from the visuals to the audio is in a class all by itself, and the superb humor is just the icing on the cake. While not very taxing, the puzzle-solving is still a blast, and the quirky combination of platforming and point-and-click adventuring makes this a stand-out title.

Gameplay: Inside the platformer framework of Stick It To The Man beats the heart of a point-and-click adventure.

Graphics: The game features fantastic visuals with plenty of memorable scenes.

Sound: The audio impresses with great music and even better voiceovers

I wasn’t sure if Not The Robots would live up to its wacky concept but it turned out to be much more addictive than I anticipated. Clearing out a level without taking damage is a rush and the stealth mechanics make for plenty of tense moments. It is not the easiest of games and it has to be completed in one sitting as there is no save feature but trust me it is worth it.

Gameplay: Eating furniture has never been this much fun!

Graphics: Nothing spectacular but gets the job done.

Sound: Good tunes and solid sound effects

Critical Point

I was expecting more from the story and less emphasis on the sex scenes considering the writer but this was not to be. The plot is still interesting and the location unique but the focus is firmly on the females and sexual content. Fans of the genre will enjoy it but others might not appreciate the mixture of sex and violence.

Gameplay: Lots of reading and a few choices here and there.

Graphics: Plenty of scenes and characters.

Sound: Japanese voice acting and decent enough music

It also looks like the developers are pulling out all the stops to make this a game that fans will enjoy and you can provide feedback or report bugs from within the game to help with the development. There has been some great role playing titles released for PC lately and Victor Vran is definitely shaping up to be one of them

Sorcery! 2

The original Sorcery was a great start to the adventure, but this second chapter kicks things into high gear. With a sprawling city to explore, nobles to track down and clues to uncover it will take a lot of luck as well as perseverance to make it to the end. Kharé is a fascinating setting filled with interesting characters and locations, but it is also very easy to make a misstep and end up dead or without your belongings. If you enjoyed the original Sorcery you definitely won’t want to miss out on this installment.

Gameplay: Features a staggering amount of choices and an engrossing story.

Graphics: The same great illustrations as the original books and a very impressive pseudo 3D map.

Sound: Good and won’t become annoying or distract you

Kholat offers players a chance to explore the area of the tragedy themselves to uncover what really happened, but even though it is set years after the actual event it would appear that there is still something to fear in those mountains

Thanks to its great setting and characters, fault milestone one is a very enjoyable and gripping kinetic novel. The story is pretty self-contained, but it does dedicate a lot of time to explaining the unique concepts of the science fantasy world the characters inhabit. The game also features quite a mature storyline, but without resorting to nudity or fanservice which is quite refreshing. If you enjoy kinetic novels with interesting characters and deep storylines you will enjoy fault milestone one.

Gameplay: There is only a single choice in the game, but the gripping storyline will keep you interested.

Graphics: Great character art although the backgrounds are a little limited.

Sound: The game doesn’t feature any speech, but has a really good soundtrack and sound effects

The Way We ALL GO

Anyone looking for a well written visual novel where the focus is actually on the story and not any fan service will enjoy The Way We All Go. It offers a great combination of slice of life drama and horror which makes for quite a compelling experience. With more than 20 different endings the replay value is also very high considering the price tag. As long as you can look past the visuals there is plenty to enjoy about The Way We All Go.

Gameplay: The story starts off rather slow, but remains compelling and definitely ends with a bang.

Graphics: Decent, but a far cry from the best that the genre has to offer.

Sound: Good music and sound effects

I Am Bread

I Am Bread is a lot of fun to watch, but until you have played it for yourself it is hard to describe just how addictive it is. Just like its predecessor, Surgeon Simulator 2013, the controls have a steep learning curve, but the amount of mayhem you can get up to make it worthwhile. Thanks to the extra modes the game also has a ton of replay value and it is definitely one of the more entertaining titles that we have played this year.

Gameplay: Goofy, over the top, intentionally frustrating and utterly addictive.

Graphics: Detailed and colorful.

Sound: The game features a very catchy soundtrack
