After a very successful Kickstarter campaign for The Grisaia Trilogy of visual novels, the first is now available on Steam. Backers smashed through the initial goal of $160, 000 and ended up pledging nearly triple that amount. Suffice to say that official English versions of the trilogy are very much in demand

Running around as a firefighter extinguishing flames and rescuing civilians is a lot more fun than it sounds and Flame Over packs quite a challenge to boot. It is definitely a little frustrating at times, but the randomized levels and addictive gameplay will keep you coming back for more after every rage quit. The game made the transition from PS Vita to PC very well and comes highly recommended.
Gameplay: Fun, sometimes frustrating, very challenging and definitely addictive.
Graphics: Four different environments and some very nice fire effects.
Sound: Very catchy and fits the theme of the game perfectly

Fans of Crimsonland, originally released in 2003 before becoming available on Steam in revamped form last year, should be familiar with 10tons Ltd. This Finnish indie developer has released a string of titles after making their debut with the blood soaked shooter and managed to carve a niche for themselves in the casual games market

The Reject Demon features an interesting cast of characters, twisting storyline and a great setting, which is all backed up by some very nice artwork. The soundtrack is also very good and, while short, it is definitely an enjoyable experience. It ends a little abruptly, but we are definitely looking forward to the future chapters.
Gameplay: The story is enjoyable and the characters all very memorable.
Graphics: The unique art style definitely sets the game apart.
Sound: Features a variety of very nice tracks

If you played Crimsonland before, the updated version is definitely a nostalgic blast from the past. It still has enough to offer new players as well with a multitude of modes, weapons, perks and achievements to keep things interesting. As long as you don’t expect a deep plot or anything beyond killing every monster in sight you will have fun with Crimsonland.
Gameplay: A simple, yet addictive top down shooter which is enhanced with some great perks.
Graphics: Improved over the original version, but still pretty basic.
Sound: Suits the game nicely, but doesn’t really stand out

We just got word from Sekai Project about a tragedy experienced by Tsukinon, a Japanese illustrator. Tsukinon is known his work with Hiyoko-soft and more recently doing the artwork for Kanotsuku, an upcoming game by game developer La’cryma. Unfortunately, a large fire devastated his home on April 25th, 2015 and left him with only the clothes he was wearing at the time, his work bag, bicycle and cellphone
