Dark Sheep

Dark Sheep

Dark Sheep is an addictive block-pushing puzzle game that combines the classic Sokoban formula with some new elements. The Commodore 64 inspired visuals and retro soundtrack, along with the horror theme, sets this game apart. However, it is also enjoyable enough that even players who are not necessarily into retro stuff will get hooked.

Gameplay: Straightforward to pick up and play, but some of the puzzles are downright devious.

Graphics: Very simple but true to the Commodore 64 era from which it draws inspiration.

Sound: The soundtrack is so good that we wished there was more of it

S.W.A.N.: Chernobyl Unexplored Releasing In April

The Chernobyl disaster, which took place on 26 April 1986, has had a huge cultural impact, particularly on video games. Now, on the 35th anniversary of the tragic event, another title is getting a release. The Medium

The Medium

The Medium sees players help a young woman with psychic abilities explore two realities in search of answers. The game is set in an abandoned communist resort that is home to many secrets as well as a few restless spirits. While The Medium won’t win any awards for its puzzles or chase sequences, the story is interesting and the visuals beautiful. The game does have its fair share of issues but offers a compelling experience for fans of the genre.

Gameplay: Nothing groundbreaking, but the dual-reality shenanigan is a nice feature.

Graphics: The environments look incredible as do the creature designs.

Sound: The soundtrack is beautiful, but the voice acting is a little uneven

Bulb Boy

Bulb Boy

Bulb Boy is a strange point-and-click adventure-style game about a boy with a bulb for a head trying to save his family from the evil that took over their house. It features some surprising elements for the genre, such as action scenes and boss battles, along with simple yet fun puzzles to solve. Some parts of the game can be annoying, and the game is relatively short despite its slow pace, but overall, it deserves a closer look.

Gameplay: Bulb Boy differs from your typical point-and-click adventure thanks to the twisted puzzles.

Graphics: The visuals are gory, gross, and actually quite good.

Sound: Bulb Boy features some unnerving sound effects and creepy music

I Walk Among Zombies Vol. 1

I Walk Among Zombies Vol. 1

I Walk Among Zombies Vol. 1 is a zombie-themed visual novel with a bit of a twist. Instead of having to fight for his survival against the undead, the protagonist discovers that through some twist of fate they are completely ignoring him. This allows him to indulge in immoral activities, not just with his zombie neighbor, but also another survivor he finds. Overall, the game has a decent story and plenty of uncensored sex scenes, but it is also rather short and ends in a cliffhanger.

Gameplay: The story is engrossing, but the frequent non-consensual sex scenes can feel a bit overdone.

Graphics: Great looking CGs as well as backgrounds.

Sound: The voice acting and soundtrack is decent, but not spectacular
