Dark Sheep

Dark Sheep

Dark Sheep is an addictive block-pushing puzzle game that combines the classic Sokoban formula with some new elements. The Commodore 64 inspired visuals and retro soundtrack, along with the horror theme, sets this game apart. However, it is also enjoyable enough that even players who are not necessarily into retro stuff will get hooked.

Gameplay: Straightforward to pick up and play, but some of the puzzles are downright devious.

Lost Words: Beyond the Page

Lost Words: Beyond the Page

Lost Words: Beyond the Page doesn’t offer much of a challenge in terms of platforming or puzzles, but that doesn’t make it any less compelling. The heartfelt story effortlessly draws players in right from the start while the charming visuals and moving soundtrack round out the package. The game tackles very difficult subjects in a way that both young and old can relate to while the charming presentation makes it even more memorable. It is more of an interactive experience than a game at times, but we wholeheartedly recommend Lost Words to anyone who can appreciate a great story.

Gameplay: Very easy and accessible, but it is the story that really sets this game apart.

Graphics: Both the journal and story sections of the game are beautiful.

Oddworld: Soulstorm Releases April 6th

Oddworld: Soulstorm Releases April 6th

The wait for Oddworld: Soulstorm is almost over as the digital version of the game will officially release on April 6th, 2021. Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee was originally released in 1997 and the follow-up, Abe’s Exoddus, came out the next year after a brutal nine-month development cycle. However, because of this deadline, Exoddus was not the game that Lorne and Sherry McKenna really envision to be the true sequel. Abe’s Oddysee received a remake in 2014 in the form of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty! so it’s only fitting that Exoddus receives similar treatment with the upcoming Oddworld: Soulstorm. Ahead of the release the developers, Oddworld Inhabitants, has revealed some new information about the game
